angle stairs
most stairs in turkey were marble, and when they turned a corner they usually kept having steps like you see here. these steps are in our hotel in istanbul and are carpeted and maybe don’t even have marble underneath. it’s pretty tricky trying to walk the inside of the corner. we also encountered a few sets of stairs where the steps weren’t all the same height, which made it pretty easy to trip!
