all the mosques we visited had a large chandelier like this one hanging from wires attached to the ceiling. the glass cups mainly have light bulbs hanging in them now, but originally held candles. this particular mosque is the rüstem pasha mosque, which is known for its beautiful tiles, which you can see in the background.
