peninsula and bar
our newly-raised bar and the peninsula it’s connected to, viewed from inside the kitchen. our barstools look a little shorter now! you can also see the accent strip of colored tiles near where the tile floor meets up with the bamboo floor. on the wall a couple inches above the new countertop is a mark from where the old countertop and backsplash were caulked to the wall many years ago.
