microwave hole

this is what was left over the old range after removing the range hood and swapping out the 18″-tall cabinet for this 12″-tall one. the shorter cabinet was over a microwave shelf before, so it happens to have a hole in the bottom to run the new microwave’s cord up through, once we connect those wires coming out the hole in the wall to an outlet in the cabinet above.
