after having all the old countertop off so our cabinets could be measured for new countertops, we put one piece of the old counter back on. it’s essentially just enough to hold the sink and the new dishwasher. the new dishwasher looks better and runs a LOT quieter than the old one, but will look even better when under the new countertop.
