dam elevator

we got stuck in the dam elevator! taking the elevator down into the hoover dam to see the huge water pipes and the generators, it stopped 2 - 3 feet above the bottom, so we had to wait 10 minutes or so for someone to come open the door from outside the elevator and then jump down out of it. we took a smaller, older (and more reliable) elevator back up to the top afterward.
