this pillar is all that’s still standing of the temple of artemis in selçuk. we enjoyed wandering our way here even though there isn’t much of the temple left to see (it was taken down when the region converted to christianity). the temple of artemis is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and has also been one of the world wonders in the civilization games.
