cover art

i first drew this checkerboard-zebra my senior year of high school in psychology.  i then redrew it along with the colorful background and used it as the cover for a tape.  the zebra is pencil, and the background is colored pencil.  i scanned the drawing, cropped it to a square, and for some reason faded the edges with black.  for the back i used a far side comic about zebras (striped) and overlayed the tracklist in green bars coming in from the sides.

music

the tracks on this cd largely drew from the tape, but considering all the music from a 90-minute tape won't fit on a 74-minute cd, i had to cut some.  actually i decided to cut more than i needed to and added some others just to keep it interesting.  while this cd falls into the same category as the ska-skank redemption, i was not concerned on this disc that all tracks be skankable, just that i could collect another disc full of good ska, swing, punk, and rockabilly.
