unfortunately no. i've been getting about 1 of these a day recently. i have some bot protection measures i could put in place but i haven't done it here yet... please note that the above post is likely made up in its entirety. |

subject: deleting spam now easier!

well i just fixed my delete script so now when spam threads get started and i delete them, it doesn't leave the empty thread around and take the forum it was posted in off the forum listing... i had to go into the database and delete the row out of the threads table and also fix the pointer to the last post in the forum row to point to something that wasn't just deleted, but now it's doing that for me (i hope!) i'd rather keep allowing anonymous posting, even though pretty much everything posted is by users (or you posting anonymously because you forgot to log in :) please note that the above post is likely made up in its entirety. |

now i'm using my bot protection form code for forum posts, so hopefully that will cut down on the amount of spam i have to delete! please note that the above post is likely made up in its entirety. |
